Taco Shenanigans for a Cause

It’s back and better than ever! Tacos Shenanigans is a monthly gathering of super cool folks to share tacos, meet new folks and catch up with friends. We took a little break in November and December. so January’s event is super-sized!!
We are meeting at Dos Gringos, home of the Monster Taco and a favorite TS spot. First round of tacos and bevs in on us! Bring friends who might like to connect – the more the merrier!
This year, at each gathering, we are highlighting worthy causes here in the Valley. There are so many great organizations helping out that could use a little more exposure. This month is The Singletons! I have been a fan of this organization since 2012 when my friend and I hosted a film festival to help them out. The Singletons (formerly known as Singleton Moms) is a home grown, Arizona-based non-profit with a mighty vision: to provide hope and support to single parent families with cancer. They are an awesome group that has grown over the years and helped so many families. Check out their website for more info on this very special organization.
To help out The Singletons. we are collecting items for their Bare Necessities pantry: laundry detergent (64 fl oz.), shampoo and toilet paper. We will collect the items and the event then deliver them to The Singletons. Donate what you can, it’s totally optional! But I can assure you, your donations will be most appreciated!
And to really supersize this Taco Shenanigans, let’s all share our 3 words for 2020. This is a tradition I started a few years back to replace the New Year’s Resolutions I never remembered after February 1st. It’s been a much better way for me to remain intentional through the year. We will have some art supplies so you can express your 3 words in color! Again, totally optional but it’s a good way to get a little accountability from friends and fellow taco lovers.
