Thank you Chris Brogan for the concept of using three words to frame goals for the year. What a great way to keep on track. Here are my three words as I look ahead to the New Year while visiting the fabulous dog paradise at Cosmo Dog Park in Gilbert, AZ.

I am heading downtown to check out some of the downtown destinations in Metro Phoenix and review how each town fared in the 2009 real estate market.
My westernmost destination is Glendale, whose historic district hosts many fabulous events each year, including Glendale Glitters, the Glendale Choclate Affaire and the annual Jazz and Blues Festival. It’s also a great place to shop for antiques!

Of course, I could not leave out downtown Phoenix! This downtown has come a long way since the Phoenix Suns got their new downtown digs. It is now a great destination with much to offer.

Arguably, the best known city in Arizona is Scottsdale, known for its upscale lifestyle. But the Old Town Scottsdale area has retained its historical charm with a dash of hip and cool.
